Can someone please explain to me why and how your membership gets upgraded? is it just to do with the amount of posts and time youve been a member?

Just wondering thats all? :roll:

i think it should be based on more than just that; or could be perhaps, in some way, decided on by the mods.
some people have "prefered member" next to their name when they're clearly not!

The membership status names are automatically advanced and based on quantity of posts but the wording can be changed. It would have to apply to everyone with the same range of postings. I could think of a few choice names for use in some cases but that's another story!!

I'll just be happy when I get to Elite! Not sure I want to be a veteran though, might have to start a new account before I get that far.
