Is a deck with blank backs worth getting? I know of only one trick that uses it. Is it worthwhile to purchase? Thanks.

There are a couple of tricks that utilize this, I think, but none spring to mind at the moment. I think you should buy the deck, but also stick around to hear what other members of the forum say.

aplying a simple priciple found in mark wilsons you could have a selected card have a printed back or infact anything you desired.

blank backs are great for signed card to wallet tricks.

There are quite a few different uses for blank back cards, I use them to preform a Mental Photography type effect.

But then again, if you've not got any use for them, why buy them?

I think there are much better ways to spend your money. If you've no specific use for them, don't bother!

A while back I was thinking about which gimmick cards to get, and ended up getting a variety pack, which was very useful for working with the Encyclopaedia of Card Tricks. However, some months later I find I hardly use them. I think I'll echo what Lady said - if you don't have specific tricks in mind that utilise them, don't get them. And you may get more value for money from a variety pack than from a whole deck of blank-backs. Again that's a decision that should be based on what tricks you want to perform.

Buy "The Dave Campbell Legacy"

In it is a packet trick that you can make up called "Beyond Belief" Absolutely brilliant. I always have this with me.

However you will need to buy 2 blank backed packs to make it up.

Mental Photo is always a good trick that utilizes blank decks, I'd say that's the best trick you could do with a blank deck.
