Um, this might just be me, but I'd put a little more magic in my magic promo video and less surf boards and sandy beaches. No offense.

Er not when the video is based around Dogtown skating and surfing culture.............

U probably didnt get a chance to read my previous posts about this DVD so no worries. Youll understand when its finished.

The whole idea of the DVD is so i dont produce another crappy Street Magic generic DVD that everyone else does, its actually goin to be about something for a change, and as its about my journey, theres magic in it as im a magician....

I want it to be crafted not just filmed.....

What percentage will be magic related though? this gives the impression that it wont be alot.

first of all i am very jealous that you have grown up/live in that area.

second, i feel if you are/will be calling this a "magic" DVD most of the stuff should be magic. a promo should be at least 5 minutes long. an advert is 2-3 mins long, a sneak peak/trailer is anywhere between thirty seconds and 2 minutes. a promo is a promotional film of an upcoming longer film. so i feel this should be much long, with more magic

Yes and as stated on the site if anyone bothered to read, and my previous posts ! that it was just a tester to see what it would look like. The whole thing is magic based, only the aesthetics and people invloved will be skate surf culture based!

Its a magic dvd so of course there will be Magic.

P.S i dont need times for trailer etc....ONCE AGAIN PEOPLE TRYING TO FOLLOW THE RULES (hence the c*** (not the best) that is on most of these dvds)

The only time skating and surfing shots will come into this is in transitions... But the overall product will have that 8mm grainy look to it....

i too think that your promo vid should have a bit more 'magic' in it, people wont know what they're watching until the last frame... perhaps show some 'spectator reactions'?

I think one still does not get the point.....................
