Just a quick question.

I did search but it returned 76 pages!!

Can you use the ID as a normal deck after the trick has been performed?

Cheers

:D :) :D

Dont buy things that are invisible

I had MAJOR trouble with IT till I got Michael Ammars Thread miracles made easy or whatever its called.

Also get yourself and ITR. I have the Kevlar pen reel and would recommend it though you may want to try an indian ITR to start with as its cheap as chips, cod, curry sauce and a can of diet coke ( you might get away with some scallops too for that price )

yeh.. Id do that, but I didnt.

The ID is NOT useable after the trick, unless you are AMAZINGLY skilled. Nor is it examinable. I personally use the ID a lot, and I mean a lot, and no one has had the need to examine it, but still. But I can guarantee you for a fact that you won't be able to use it afterwards. It's for that trick and that trick alone. A good way to do this though, is to keep two decks of the same colour, one invisible, and one non-gimmicked. I always carry around an extra blue deck, then for a deck switch, I put one away, then pull out colour monte, or some other non-deck trick. Then, when you're in need of another deck trick, whip out your nearly identical deck.

Not strictly true.

With the right routining it can be used for more than ' think of a card.. oh look its upturned in the deck '

Combine it with other routines, other ideas and it becomes a new effect,or part of another effect.

You can force a red backed card from a blue deck and when you eventually reveal the back is now red, you can say its changed places with a card from another deck. That is completely different from the standard way of handling the ID.

many other ways obvoiusly too

The ID is a gimmick specific effect. You can't really pull off any normal tricks with it. Unless, I'm mistaken, the ID is just used for gimmicked effects and nothing else.
