Out of interest, exactly what is the correct method for breeding faries?

Every time I've tried so far, the male's wings fall off, and he eventually stops eating, gets depressed and dies, and the females I've tried just burst immediately :shock:

I'm obviously doing something horribly wrong, but can't - for the life of me - figure out quite what :cry:
