I've come into this a bit late (Broadband has been playing up) and have to say I am shocked at the manners of many people, particularly younger ones who have this 'give me everything for free' attitude.
Just because their parents lavish them with whatever they want (rather like the spoilt brat in Viz) they assume everyone else has to.
It doesn't take much and costs nothing, to say a simple 'thank you'.

The help and advice I have received from people on this forum from members such as Allen Tipton, Markdini and Tenko has been a huge help to me and I am very grateful for the assitance from people don't HAVE to help you but are kind enough to do so.

I think the mannerless ones will find themselves receiving less and less advice and help. Sharing of knowledge is one of the most valuable things there is.

There's a fine line between arrogance and manners.

Minding your Ps and Qs is one thing, but it's the ARROGANCE of some magicians that peeves me.

Yes, I know, I am myself calling the kettle black a tad here, as I can appear arrogant at times, but I'm talking about the 'ungrateful takers' that Freddie describes, not the outspoken Mods :)
