you really need to practise these routines more before you post a video.
if these routines are made by yourself then you need to make sure they are 100% flawless, you shouldnt have so much on the go at one time, take one routine and learn it untill it is beyond perfect instead of posting 5 vids of amateur and in some cases poor magic.

much better effort man, drop the coin and silk can be examined bit it breaks up the routine and is not needed to be said in your demo.
one thing most people have when filming is lighting, yours is good but you need more, at some points the coin is hard to see and if you can try to remain close to the shot and dont move back and forth to much.

overall though presentations realy getting there more michael, less sankey in this one keep it up.

I also wanted to say that I thought the trick itself was not that extraordinary or interesting to begin with. I've seen a lot of tricks like this and they're not very interesting. But I do think the quality of the video itself has gotten better.

thank you everyone.

AMATEUR?

Ok, I will admit this video is kind of spur of the moment "Let's Film YouTube videos" thing. BUT, you have to admit it was performed at least decently! I thought my Strinking Vanishes looked good.

strike vanishes well excecuted but to quote sankey try not to jump the coin rather let it hang in mid air, hope you catch my drift but I'm suitably obscure for the passing trade.

i think no more card tricks has the advice on, also david roth tapes have some nice silk and coin routines.
ps whent the direct route to your vids on utube.

The effects and presentations are getting better indeed. The body language and speech, however, still needs a lot of work.

Slow down!

Slow down your movements, slow down your speech... and for Christ's sake, stop shoving things in our faces!

I was a nice little effect, and i really liked the idea of time traveling also the concept of the vanishes. Just keep on practicing and try and make some of the pocket ditches a little smoother.

Well done.

Not bad, only a couple of comments on this. The second bit where it goes "underneath" the silk is not convincing at all really, it is quite obvious that your hand turns over. The rest of it is pretty good though.

My second comment is that you wave that silk around like it's on fire or something, and you keep stepping backwards and forwards so it's quite hard to watch you. So yeah just calm down a little when you're doing it.

Mikey

If you admit that the quality of you presentation is merely 'decent', dont post them

When you feel you have acheived a good standard, then post here for advice on how to make it feel better.

Decent presentations dont really help you much as it may be the case that people will draw attention to things you already ' apparantly ' know.

Why not take some time and if neccessary, re-shoot over and over again until you feel you have it down perfect, then post here and ask for comments. Any feedback you get then will surely be more focused on the areas you need to work on rather than comments on a lot of things that neednt be mentioned had you taken the time to post a decent quality vid??????

Hi Michael.

I'm confused. Forgive me, I'm new to magic etc. and no, i can't perform to your standard so I'm just commenting from a spectator.

What confuses me as a viewer of your video is that one minute you are presenting to me, the next you tell me that the spectator can examine the silk, then you return to presenting. Just as you bring me into the effect you then dismiss me, by saying "they can examine the coin if you want....". Can I suggest that you perform the effect for me, the viewer and not try and try and sell it. this seems a recurring theme in the videos you've posted here, they appears as trailers for the effect and not you just performing them. Hope that makes sense.

best

Martin

Yes, thank you, and my apologies for that. I am highly influenced by the Sankey demo videos where he stops himself in the middle of the effects telling viewers what can be examined and what good quality the apparatus it.
