The great magic cafe topic vanish!!

Postby damien60 » May 23rd, '07, 07:52

Hi Guys,

I don't know about anyone else here on TalkMagic, but as well as using this brilliant forum, I sometimes take a wander over to The Magic Cafe for a browse..( forgive me). I have posted on two recent topics on the cafe and they have both vanished( thats right the whole post).... I have never found this to be the case here on TalkMagic..I can always come back at anytime and check up on old posts for new comments given. Is it me or is big brother running The Magic Cafe? Has anyone else found this to be the case? I was going to ask this on the cafe but I thought The post might dissapear!

Regards Damien

The Magic Cafe is run by a sort of 'brainwash' society.

If they don't like what you say, they edit/delete it.

Especially if you post a bad review or comment about their advertisers.

It's not so much a forum, as freedom of speech is not tolerated.

I've had the same problem over there in the past, I don't think they really like me too much.

Ohhhh, Lomsiepoos, they don't know what they're missing if they don't like you!

They could CERTAINLY do with some pink fluffieness over there... the place is decorated like a cheap brothel with neons etc.

Really? I've always wondered what the inside of a cheap brothel looks like, and all this time Seige was an expert...
Does that make (the hilariously named) Greg Arce the bouncer? He looks like one to me.

To be honest, we have moved one or two threads out of sight but only because they were potentially libellous or something equally serious. The Café scares the socks off me, I only visit there once in a blue moon and even then it would only be because there's something relevant to TM going on.

You need to take a little trip to Amsterdam. Very educational.

Knowing what a cheap brothel LOOKS like pales in comparison to what one SMELLS like.

do they smell like the backs of cheap practise mats and superglue?

everyone has now (quite rightly) jumped on the lomster band-wagon...but i remember certain snarlings from...*it's at this point abraxus drifts off into a light slumber, dreaming of a creme egg and a nice cold peach ice-tea....*

let's forget i said anything...

I've found that the reason I will never visit the magic cafe again is that I feel the whole organization of the site is not thought out at all. I find this site is much more neat and orderly. Props to the mods! 8)
