Instead of John Kennedy's Mind Power deck, are you able to use Richard Osterlind's Radar Deck? Seems to have the same premise.

I think Mindpower is cleaner to the specs.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

You could, but you would be sacrificing the disappearance of the card.

Or you could just be the cheap bu**er that I am and just use a regular deck, a force and a steal. I realise it's not quite the same as having someone sight a card from a spread but it works.

Or do it the other way up with a 1 way deck. Depends which bits make the trick for you. If you have enough decks you can put together a repeating 8 yourself easily enough.

Or simply stack the deck, false shuffle it and have the spectator take, say, 8 cards.
