This is very true stevie. I have performed triumph for lay people over 200 times and every time I do the move I get nervous and think please work. Over confidance kills magic.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

You should try to think of something else, don't think that you are performing, think that you are at some place that you enjoy to be at.

i would think with experience, nervousness would become less apparent. im sure someone who has 7 years of magic on their belt and lecture experience would not have much to worry about :D

When I'm on stage or before an audience, the first thing I do is look around, try and understand where you are, take it all in and really enjoy it. I usually don't get nervous until a few hours before, then I s**t myself until my first word on stage.... Then I'm fine

Talking, laughing, joking at the audience will relax them and YOU.

Good luck

I'm just trying to tell it like it is. Life isn't always pina coladas and strippers. Sometimes you're stuck with life being warm beer and prison sex.

Wisdom has nothing to do with age.

You asked for advice and I gave it to you. Don't tell me my advice is wrong. If you knew there was no such thing as too much practice, why did you ask for advice in the first place? I'm guessing it was simply to get people to talk to you.

No, not at all... Practice is good, but I was looking for ways to relieve the butterflies... READ the posts, Monker!
