Well ill get straight to it........Erm watched the rantings of Mr D. Brown on t.v last night and was very interested in how to make a profile up? similar to what he did with the people from different countries etc....Those of you who watched it will understand.........

So peeps were is the best place to start to get a bog standard average person profile?

Yes I see what your getting at but, Im looking for a more printed reliable media form that my head lol .......Books etc.

Ah. It looks like you're after the original Barnum Statements. The underlying principle (a cognitive bias correctly called the personal validation fallacy) is known as the Forer effect in general. Here's a link to get you going:

What Brown seemed to do was simply to detail them far more than usual and take a few punts at likely things to cover a page of A4.

In Browns book 'Trick Of the Mind' there is the full transcript of what he wrote. It's pretty damn good

The full facts of cold reading by Ian Rowland is the only place to start. This book has everything that you need to know.
