Thanks !!! Guess iv got a lot of catching upto do!! Are the IBM conventions still being held? is it safe to ask who the main supplier is with magic in the UK. Always found Supreme to be really good, mindyou l guess that was back in the good old days?
Still have one of the original Su tables from many years ago, In my early days of starting out it was given to me by a retiring professional "Sinclair" he did the live bullet catching act a lot of years ago. Still loaded with with the props of yesteryear, Dove pan and zig zig can of coke, two of my favourites not to mention the firing wand, that would be so non pc these days with blanks !!! and filled with flash wool, gave everybody a start when it was used :D
cheers

Hello Myles and welcome to TM.

I guess magic has changed quite a lot the last 10 - 15 years. Now it's very easy to access magic props and magic tricks, because of the many Internet based magic stores. Now you don't have to go to Davenports or International Magic to buy stuff, you can order it on your computer. As you can see down here, 20 companies are advertising to support TalkMagic and most of them are magic suppliers. In Iceland, where I live, there are no magic shops, so we rely on the Internet shops mainly.

Also the type of magic has been changing a bit. Though you always have traditional magic, street magic and different shock magic is getting more and more popular today.

Regarding IBM, we just formed a ring under IBM over here. There are many all over the world and from what I understand, there are a lot of active ones in the United Kingdom.

Hope you enjoy your stay here.
With warm greetings from Iceland!
