I take it you mean this one:

The Magician asks a spectator to put a match into one of two identical brass cylinders and replace the lid....

The brass cylinders are then covered by the spectator with two glasses....

The Magician does not feel anything or hear anything, and yet without any visual, tactile or audible clues they pick the container with the match inside!!
(copied and pasted straight from Ebay by the way !!)

It does what it says on the tin. You do not need to feel, shake or even see the cylinders - the glasses that cover the brass cylinders can even be covered so that the cylinders are now out of sight.
The major drawback to this trick, is that it cannot be repeated to the same spec. You could repeat it if you wanted, but you risk exposing the method.
If you could perform this over and over again, it could possibly be made to look like a feat of mind-reading. However, because it can only be performed once safely (2 or 3 times if you're lucky) to the same spec, it could just look like you're a lucky guesser, after all you've got a 50/50 chance  .
One way around this would be to use an audience of say 3 or 4 people and let them take it in turns to place the match in the cylinder - you now read them individually so you could possibly perform it safely to an audience of 4 people (for example), 4 times. You could still possibly get caught out, but this way increases your chances of getting away with it  .

Anyway, I personally don't rate it, but I suppose it depends on your own personal taste, etc. I'm sure others out there will love it - I'm not one of them however  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
