The Trilogy by Dan and Dave

Postby Mr Ben » Jun 16th, '07, 09:15

I understand that this isn't out yet, but when it is - an IMMEDIATE review would be my dream, haha!

I just went on http://www.ellusionist.com as you do, and was quite suprised to find that they will be releasing "The Trilogy" by Dan and Dave, 'The card work and magic' of dan and dave; So I'm guessing that means they will be explaining a few new flourishes and maybe one of their favourite routines?

But here's the real kicker - there's a chance to win one of one-hundred coveted "Black Ghost" bicycle cards!
If ellusionist are good at one thing ( Apart from over-hyping.. ) Its their custom playing cards, which I think are a dream!

So keep your eyes pealed for teasers, which they will no doubt be releasing in the next coming days...

All the best,

Mr Ben

P.S Second thought, you get more information from their site  http://www.dananddave.com/store/trilogy/index.html

hmm i want this set too but don't fancy ordering it from the states since it's over the £18-import-tax limit. hopefully find it for a good price on a uk etailer soon.

You can buy it for £49.99 from http://www.magicshop.co.uk
If you buy from Penguin, they normally mark the product as a sample/gift with a value of $0.00, and this is included on the invoice. That has occured on all my purchases from them. Just thought I'd let you know

Ok, you asked for it! Here is a review, which I have just lifted straight out of another forum. Possibly the longest review I have ever read. Make yourself comfortable and you may want to have a meal before you read this epic...

Damn that's a sweet peice of info!

I've asked other etailers in the past to do the same for various purchases only for them to refuse (or in the case of one, agree, only to not do it and i ended up having to pay the postman the VAT when he arrived with the goods). For penguin to recognise the import issue for their UK customers is pretty cool.

I foresee Penguin Magic ending up on my bank statements a fair bit now. Thanks londoni.

Got my copy today. Working on my review which is going to be astronomically big. Its already 3 pages long and i've only typed the names of each effect on the first DVD!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I love this box set!
It's not for beginners though, as some of the effects take hours of practise before you can even think of doing them properly but it's defo my best DVD yet.
My mate paid a total of £60 from the US but I found it for £44.99 from here:
