I've always used normal kevlar thread for a ring float. Been contemplating the possible merits of using elasticated thread in future. I haven't had a huge amount of experience with elastic thread. Anyone who has used both got an opinion on which would be best for a ring float. Pros and cons?

buy some loops they are perfect for a ring float, completly impromptu no set up and borrow a specs ring!

Hi, Yeah afraid to say I am from Crawley but promise I wont come over to green and pleasant Horsham to burgle your house!! Do you ever go to any of the West Sussex Magic circle meetings down in Lewes? I've been meaning too for a while but something always seems to get in the way.

Loops. Yes, I've experimented with loops but never found a satisfactory hook up for a ring float. Any tips or hints would be much appreciated.

horsham isnt that great either, although we dont have quite the level of violent little people as crawley, no never been down to lewis, been up to the magic circle in london a few times with my mentor as he is a memeber, i want to join but i work on mondays which is when the meet so its not possible at the moment. and regarding the hook up with the loops in the book animated miricles there is a beautiful and easy ringfloat, the spec gives you their ring and litrally less then 1 sec later its floating between your hands.

Would someone be good enough to PM me the hook up for floating ring, using loops? I've just bought my first pack but it only gives the hook up for haunted deck and animated fork!
