Fake Scalpel or Razor Blade

Postby Schwen » Jun 22nd, '07, 11:37

Playing around with coins last night, and had an idea for a routine where I disappear a coin (maybe several times, not worked it out completely yet), but I want to end up slicing the underside of my forearm and pulling out the coin from within. I am a bit of a gore fan, and would like to use a lot of fake blood when performing this.

What I really need is a fake scalpel or razor blade that will leave a trail of blood when I run it across my skin, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find something like this? I have the kife thru arm, but it really is too impractical for making a small incision.

Never ordered from these people personally but I've heard very good things about their products and customer service

This is a similar routine from Criss Angel:

Probably using stooges, meh :?

Edit:
Might not be stooges, but a lot of editing to get that coin-travelling-up-arm sequence meshed with the real trick.

Actually a trick like that was sold at one point. Now its a rare item thats very costly: Surgical Reveal I believe the name is. Last I heard its very hard to find, and very costly.

I was wondering if anything like that had been done

what I was thinking of is a lot more simple and practical though, impromptu apart from the need for the razor, even that is not a necessity. plus i won't be wearing poncey black nail varnish ;)
