New Effect Idea. Comments? Suggestions?

Postby Michael Kras » Jun 28th, '07, 18:37

I have devised an impromptu method of Strange Travellers, in which a merely thought-of card vanishes from one packet and reappears in the spectators own packet. This method even includes the actual card vanish... When the cards are counted, there is really one missing!

Does this sound like something that has been done before? Can anyonbe think of a good, suitable name for this? Thank you!

Brainless Travellers on Pot Of Jam might be worth a look at.

As Lawrence and I.D. have said, it's been done before. What are the conditions of yours?

Totaly impromptu... No set up

No Extra Cards

Deck Can Be Borrowed

As many cards as you want can travel

No Sleights

Start Clean, End Clean

Spectators hold on to the packets the entire time

Lol!
Indeed, this sounds interesting, especially when there are "no slieghts involved"

Perhaps a video of the effect would be of some use, have you have refined it all and have it down to a fine art.

I'm not a fan of this "merely thought of card" business.
Not true. A "thought of" card would appear in my mind on it's own, one that I had "thought of"
A "merely sighted card" would be a card that I had seen with my eyeballs.

I can't stand all this "a card which the spectator merely thought of" rubbish in packet trick explanations. Technically it's in breach of The Trade Description act.
