Actually this isn't fair. There is "free" magic material that is available on the internet that is legitimate. A lot of us are aware of that "Intelligent Swine" aren't we?

That said Alchemist, in your case I think that you will need to purchase the said DVD or experiment yourself.

I don't think there will be any public domain works on PK rings.
Aren't they a recent invention?

With a bit of ingenuity, many other effects using the same attractive principle can be modified for use with PK Rings.

True, but there are many specific effects which weren't really possible or as clean as with a "natural" gimmick out in the open. I'm thinking along the lines of prohibition, and the way I'm working mine into my chop cup routine.

Very interested to read that. I have a PK ring but never thought about using it in a chop cup routine. I guess I always assumed the ring would not be powerful enough for that purpose. I need to experiment more!

I don't use it as the chop. I use a regular chop cup for that. For instance, used in conjunction with the back of the cup, you can show your hands and the cup convincingly empty. Also if you get 4 gimmicked balls you can do the cups and balls almost palmlessly.

A cardboard vending cup can be used very effectively and truly impromptu. All you need is the right kind of item being used in the cup (or gaff it with a small neo on the quiet!) and you can do some interesting vanishes etc.

I just got the DVD and it's pretty poor, to be honest. Looks like it was filmed in an afternoon with a digital camera, and the performer (whoever he is) is pretty amateurish in his actions... Just look up a description of the DVD and you should get some ideas from there--the methods should hit you like a ton of bricks.
