IT

I'm in England, but when I was in America a few years ago. I wandered into a magic shop for the first time and bought some IT after the salesman did a trick with a floating coin.

That evening I messed around with it and the next day I was doing magic on Amtrak as I travelled around the states. Even though I had never done magic before I developed a good routine with it and passengers were gathering around me amazed and trying to copy me. I told them it was something to do with static and the movement of the train and didn't understand how it worked and waited for them to try and come up with theories. Also dollar bills are made partly of linen which give them some very unique properties!

It was very good stuff you had to separate yourself. I could do a card/credit card/dollar bill suspension or standing up in the flat of somebody's hand with people staring as close as they wanted to it and carried on with the trick back in England.

When I ran out of the thread, I ordered more from a few suppliers on Ebay, but nothing has been as good. Nothing where I can have total confidence it won't be seen.

So my question is, please tell me where I can buy the very best and most invisible IT? I apologise if this has been asked before. I tried to search back but could not see anything.

The best on the market is supposed to be Kevlar Premium Thread.. its very strong and practially invisible.

Though Im no basis for comparison, I cant use It in any shape or format. :?

Thank you for your tip. Why do you say you can't use it? Do you mean the Kevlar thread or IT in general?

I've never used kevlar, I still use the standard, and find it to be fine enough as it is to be quite honest

Can anyone recommend a supplier?

I did a search for "kevlar Premium" and came up with only seven results, one being this thread!" (excuse the pun)

There is a magic supplier listed but when I click on the link for Kevlar Premium, it just has rope.

I did another search and identified my original source that I bought in Vegas. It was the UFO Whirling Card Helicopter Card trick, although I never used it in the way they suggest.

Lots of suppliers

As I said, anything I bought off Ebay doesn't come close to this stuff for invisibility and I have no confidence to use it. I guess I could buy another UFO pack, but seems a bit wasteful.

A good point! If the maufacturers could be persuaded to advise and quote the tensile strength of the product it would enable easier comparison.
