Indeed the kindling of young childrens magic spirit is wonderful thing. On BBC 1 at 5pm for the next two weeks is a new show called the Magicians apprentice. It stars Max Magics Maximillian Sommerset as a professor and 14 children, 7 boys and 7 girls. None know magic, and thus have lessons in an exclusive boarding school on the only subject that matters...magic! The children are eliminated depending upon their lack of sill as the show progresses. A kind of Harry Potter meets the Apprentice reality TV show. The winner of course shall become his apprentice of course. Rather entertaining. I wish I had been into magic at that age!
