Hey all, im jarrad, 16, from australia. Ive been doing circus for just over a year now (mostly arials and acro) but have been getting into some really easy magic lately. I also do a bit of Firebreathing.

I was doin really lame card tricks (not saying card tricks are lame, just my card tricks are). Worked on that for a while but then found some stuff on escapeology and am really into that now. Mostly me and my mate chaining our hands up, and sometimes onto stuff.

If anyone knows any good escapeology sites, tricks, things to try or just stuff in general that they could share, i would be really thankfull.

If you read all that thanks, it was pretty long.

Welcome. I really fancy getting an old battered straight jacket and doing a spooky bizarre escapologist combo routine. Actually, that's a damn fine idea. I can see it all in my mind now. Wow. I'm actually quite excited about this idea. Off to place an ad for a second hand battered straight jacket right now...!

After you've been here for a while remind me to send you some author names of some great escapology books.

Enjoy!

I'm not one to post on introduction threads because people may mistake me for just racking up on post counts, and if you are new and welcome people a lot on introduction threads just because you want to, sorry! I'm sure you just mean to be welcoming!

Just a quick question, know much about the surfing there? I watch it on the tv and the waves there look totally different to Britain. But when I think about it, it's really just the height of waves in Australia, and the fact there are loads of barrels (collapsing waves with a big gap in the middle) than you get in Britain. Long story short, would you say Surfing is a whole different scene there? (Thinking of taking a surfing trip to Australia)

Thanks a lot. And welcome...although it goes against all that i said at the start.
