Hey all,

If you get chance tonight watch the 1st two episodes of Heroes on BBC2 9pm! (If you haven't seen it already that is!)

It's the best American Series I've watched in ages! Simply amazing!

You need to watch to at least episode 4 to give it a chance as it really picks up after that!!

Here's a link to the characters: http://entertainment.uk.msn.com/tv/feat ... id=5626787

A fantastic show, and I would second the recommendation.

I do hope the rumours are true that season 2 starts September 24th, as I really can't keep myself contained much longer after season one...

I don't watch much telly, especially US 'miniseries', but this had me hooked.

I believe Chris Eccleston is in episode 12 and clearly shows he can do more than just portray Dr.Who. He can become an invisible man or something like that?

Indeed - Chris Eccleston shows up around half way through as far as I can remember.....

Mandrake - Do you want to be spoiled as to his character...?

Yep.

The Eccleston we see in Heroes is a great character... rough, ready, and typically 'ard as nails.

Makes his Doctor Who role look like Mr Bean.

I won't go into any details, as it would spoil the show. It's full of surprises, and that's how it should be kept.

The red 'A' is actually an 'R'—for 'Record'.

Specsavers are still doing that '2 for 1' you know...

Ah would that it were so. I believe the R thingy is on Sky+ boxes - mine is a good old fashioned bog standard Sky box and it's A for auto channel change and hope that I've set my steam driven VCR correctly! I would trade it in for a Sky+ Box (which are going to be dirt cheap from August apparently) but it took several attempts to get one which worked for longer than 6 months before frying itself to death and I'm reluctant to part with it!

If he turns up as the invisible man, they might as well have not got him? :?

I gotta say, I'm liking it so far, a teenager dressed in a cheerleaders outfit running about all over the place.

This is simply the best series I have watched since 'monkey'! I can agree that it really picks up half way through and has an amazing conclusion in the last episode, cant wait til the next series in September I believe. 8)

Please, surely a magic website can respect the idea of no spoilers on a thread. I do not want to know what happens.

I enjoyed those first 2 episodes, the flashbacks and repeats of earlier scenes can be a bit confusing but were obviously necessary. It looks very promising indeed. Gory, but promising!
