Scorpion. Comes with an actual reason to perform this kind of effect.

Also about $400.00 cheaper

Thanks roth, this trick seems like it could be an awesome effect if played to the correct amount of tension and even comic relief type of scenario. I want to do this one I think it has the kind of impact I'm looking for. By the way could you point me in a direction that carries the Scorpion effect. Thanks again for your help

Matt -

If you click on Roth's signature, that'll take you directly to his website, where you purchase Scorpion :D

Also - use the search function her on TM, and go read the user reviews for this effect. Your wallet will be out faster than you can say 'Makibishi' - I promise you!

I'll heed your advice and do so, so do you mean exactly my wallet will be out for purchase or it will be out as in drained of my money very quickly because of the effect LOL :D other fun facts the balls are also similiarly called, tetsubishi, and caltrops, imagine a magician having interest in Ninja who would have thought? This looks cool but the nail looks more menacing to me, but thats just me lol

LOL - nope; it'll only come out for a single purchase!

(Although you might want to be very strict with yourself, and NOT look at any other Outlaw items - I only went there to buy 1 effect....and ended up buying..well, everything!  )

I'm curious, what is the "meaning" of the actual spike? What is it's purpose?

Where did you get this odd sharpe object with the nice wood pedestals to put it on?

At a yard sale? Do you say it came from Hocus-Pocus

I'm just messin with ya man. 8)

I use Spiked quite a lot, it fits in with my show quite nicely - however I am very tempted by Scorpion - I can see me using either one depending on the type of function.

As others have said - soo much good stuff on that site.

I predict my paypal account will be emptying......

hey its says in the descprition that you need a Pk ring, cool I found the sight you recommended but I've heard that the Pk rings are fragile and prone to getting broken. Should I buy multiple rings of the same size, or whats a good cautionary handling of the rings so they don't get broken?
