'Degrees of Freedom' query

Postby misterblack » Aug 7th, '07, 13:55

Quick question, which may help me stop buying anything new for a while.

Is the highly-rated John Bannon effect 'Degrees of Freedom' based on the same principle as 'Four Aces Squared' that is found on Lennart Green's DVD of self-working stuff, or is it something entirely different?

I have both, but cant remeber the names of all the routines. However, if you are refering to the effect where the cards are 'folded' until you have one pile of face up and down cards. then it is the same principle.
However, degrees of freedom is a much nicer use of the principle, and along with this you get a number of very nice effects.
So the answer is yes, its similar, though you should still buy the book, it is fantastic.

There's a lot of good material in this book. It's one of the best books of the last few years, in my opinion.

What you call heroism is just an expression of this fact; there is never a scarcity of idiots
