Hi Noor,

I wasn't critising your review - i just wanted to put my personal point across!

I make my "skywalker" using old materials I had, thinking it would work, but it does not. So i would therefor need to purchase new ones to make a new gimmick. Things are not quite so cheap here!

If you have a videocamera or a web cam, it would be great to see a demo of your performance.

The only thing i disagree about in your reply is where you say you aways have to do your research before buying a trick. This is true, but at the same time, selling magic is subject to the same consumer laws here in the UK as selling anything else. It just amazes me sometimes what people get away with!

But then again, magic is a special case!

Nice one

Postby Trickyfied » Aug 19th, '07, 00:44

Thanks for the review 8) I own King Rising and although it is great for video I would never perform it publicly so after watching the demo of Skywalker I was intrigued. I have thought of many ways to levitate and the demo looks like I was thinking on the same lines as them. I also noticed how awkward he walked away in the demo vid. Am I allowed to continue inventing my own gimmick when I know it is proberlly the same or very similar to this effect or should I give in and buy skywalker accepting that they beat me to it? (thinking aloud)

I guess I'll buy it...

Up to 400 lb. weight limit - Who the hell konws ,I only weight 92 lb so that means that you can throw 3 more of me on me plus a full grown Orangutan and I'd still be levitating Very Happy that is awesome

Ooooohhhh, an Orangutan!

Great review by the way! :)

Thanks for a comprehensive review. As a professional, I avoid anything that needs extensive preparation, or is even slightly 'angly', but the demonstration video is very good!

best,

Lee

well I was thinking about buying SKYWALKER, but now im not so sure. I dont like to wear gimmics that affect the way i walk/move. anyone know a more comfertable levitation I can perform w/o the misderection of a jacket or something? I, unlike the others on this post, am a fan of levitations. Thats right I`ll be the first 2 man up about it & say it. cue a lot of making fun of me, which I dont care about because I get great reactions from the one I invented, although It`s not that easy to perform even though there is no gimmick.

1]Thanks :D and the answer is yes I do use comedy in my magic but not to that much,it helps in performing sleights without getting caught 8)

2]Well Is there a name that you have given your levitation and yes there is a comfertable levitation and its called F.L.Y. cost $1500 but if you think your levitation is really good and usable in real situations you should think about selling it  just my thought.

have a nice day everybody

I won the bidding for one from a magic seller on ebay, this guy is selling workeroo so I figure he must be cosher, but after waiting and watching for the postman I complained and he sent me a pdf file stating that is what i should have recieved on cd rom. Is that what you guys got, or did you get a gimmick and dvd?

I don't have it, but from the reviews and advertising I am under the impression that you recieve a booklet of some sort. Looks like you have bought a pirate copy. If you paid by paypal put in a dispute, and explain the situation, as you haven't recieved what you paid for. You should get your money back.
If you paid any other way, contact ebay, though from personal experience they are rubbish and dont really care as long as they get their cut.

Well I do not have a name for it, but I`m going to sell it to Penguinmagic.com when I do think of one & make a demo video. I can use it anytime, anywhere, but it's angles are just a little better than balducci, that`s the problem. I`d say I can get maybe 90* on a good day w/ a stupid audience/kids. I did it at church & was caught by the pastor, but no one else. I`M NOT PAYING $1500 FOR A SINGLE LEVITATION, I`M TOO POOR! Then again, I haven`t met anyone that can.

Sorry to tell you dude but i don't think this will sell I'd stick to skywalker instead because too many people know the balducci and since you say that your levitation is gimmickless then i dontthink any one will buy it cause a gimmick helps in making effects better.

If you think about it all the levitation's you see out there give you the same height like the balducci but the angles are better because they involve gimmicks i'd rather spend my time perfecting the skywalker then going out and performing the very beautiful but sadly ripped off balducci

I've said it before and I am saying it again this is the best levitation out there which is at a reasonable price and performable :D

But i have to admit thislevitation is not for the weak hearted, cause it's going to take you a freakishly large ammount of time to build it.

The Enchantment says:
The Enchantment producer of such highly acclaimed effects as Archangel, Dreamweaver, and ABYSS, is finally releasing its most sought after and highly anticipated product to date.

Read the part in bold/italics thats a complete lie the only reason it took them so long to release it after such a long time is not that is was sought after but, because it took them a really long time to make the gimmick just like me :D just kidding

Very true, noor. I don`t get a lot of air w/ mine, either. I think I will actually buy skywalker after all. I think I`ll find a way to make it work for me, under the conditions I work in.
