well, i am a dj who wants to turn to magic, in order to provide more of a service.

I have spoken to a magician who has told me to learn tricks rather than magic to begin with in order to get an idea of which course i want to go down (not sure what he meant lol) but anyway he told me to get three pint glasses, and put two very close together and balance a (normal) match over the rims of two of them, then to fit a third in between without breaking them or dropping the match - i have tried like a bear and had no luck.

By the way i am garry 31 married with three kids from bonnie scotland :)

i'd certainly sugest you get thease.

rope for cut and restored rope and rope through kneck.
a change bag, three way are best.
colouring book or similar change book.
stiff rope.
sliding die box.

all the above can be demo'd wile the music is going on as well as being used in a multi aged show and make good aditions to your other props.
you may also like to pick up cultural exchange 1+2 as there are a good selection of tricks that can be done in noisy enviroments.

There are a number of effects using CD's that I thought would be right up your street being a DJ.

Take a look at Mike Danata's web site as he carries some of these in stock.
