Name that effect

Postby donkeylord » Aug 29th, '07, 05:10

Hi everyone, I was wondering where I could learn to seemingly make cards appear in my hands a la cardini
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad_VRlsf8Xk&NR

I do not own the RRTCM (a sin against magic I know, it's coming in the mail) but if it is in this tomb of card magic my apologies. I just needed to ask before it slipped my mind... again...

(thanks and sorry for the post, never really liked name that effect posts)

Jeff Macbride has a load of DVDs on card manipulation, covers card productions, fan productions and boatloads of other stuff.

Best bet is the art of card manipulation series...Royal Road doesnt give enough for you.

It covers it slightly in Card Control, by Arthur Buckley as well.

Jeff McBride's Art of Card Manipulation is your best bet though. I regularly do fans ands singles, and trust me - they are good fun :D

Jeff Mcbrides art of card manipulation series is pretty much all you'll need in terms of visual aid.

Would you all suggest buying the whole serious (3 dvds/vhs depending?) Or just a single volume? (mainly I ask this because can't spend a ton of money... banks running short...

I think he covers singles and spilt fans in volume 2, though I could be mistaken.

It depends if you just want to know them, or a hell of a lot more besides :)

Any chance you know the specific name of the move/moves so that I can look it up and see which volume it is on (although buying all three would be tempting I must try to limit myself).
