If you have the time try this one out for size:

A different subject matter but very compelling to say the least. The thing is it is hard to know how much to believe as without independant verification from many experts in these fields.

I love all the Illuminati conspiracy stuff! I know it's not real, and that one can form relationships between any number of images we see around us and see patterns where none exist (it's what the human brain is very good at after all) - but I kind of wish it was all real. I certainly enjoy a good conspiracy anyway, even if it is in the same way that I enjoy a good magic show! I allow myself to be suckered into it and suspend my disbelief for a short while.

Good fun.

It's rather illiterate in places isn't it? I would have thought those with the intelligence to see through the 'conspiracies' they highlight would know how to use a spellchecker or a dictionary. Right from the start they get it wrong, 'Knights of the Templar' is woefully incorrect and takes only a moment or two to check - Knights Templar, Templar Knights, or Order of the Knights Templar are all more accurate.

Of course, I could easily be saying this just because I'm one of those who are seeking to pull the wool over your eyes……..

I wonder if there's a league table of all the references to different organisations mentioned in conspiracy theories. I'm guessing the Masons are somewhere at the Premier end, which is actually very unimaginative on the part of conspiracy theorists when you think about it.

Having read Holy Blood, Holy Grail, I'm convinced there were/are far more secret societies than there are possible members! Each one seems to be controlled behind the scenes by others so if we dig back far enough eventually we should get back to the one person who actually runs the universe. As referred to in Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which we all foolishly thought was just fiction.......

That was awesome. I love the internet, so much information can be found via it, as can books obviously :P

But, on a serious note, some of this stuff may just be coincedence, granted, but you can't laugh it off and say it's all b******s.

I don't know about you, but if I were a member of the Illuminati I wouldn't subliminally advertise it everywhere, I'd try and keep it as safe as possible.
Tally ho-s must have been designed by them because they have loads of circles. For a secret organisation they sure know how to make a decent pack of cards.

Having worked at several functions held at some freemason "lodges", I can say without fear of being wrong that whoever secretly rules the world, it ain't those guys. Brewery, p*ss up, and couldn't are some words that spring to mind.

On the other hand, Mensa just chug away quietly don't they? Hmmm...

One serious question - I would love to know the *real* story behind the pyramid eye symbol thing. Anyone have any clues that don't involve the Illuminati, new world orders, and alien beings? Fun though those 3 ingredients undoubtedly are.

David Blaine used the eye symbol on his hand in that infamous GMTV non-interview with Eamon Holmes. Perhaps David knows something we don't?

So do the ladies of the WRVS - all that baking, jam making and embroidery must be a cover for something worrying.....

If it was up to me I'd put the WRVS in charge of everything. They'd have it all sorted in time for tea.
