My name is Aaron and I've been browsing on this forum for weeks already. I discovered this place upon searching for some reviews for Ellusionist/Magic tutorial products. I find it very helpful and it convinced me to purchase Strange Travelers and Indecent.

I do "close up" magic as a hobby for more than a decade, but I only practiced card crafting on regular basis on the last two years. You should also know that I live in Manila (so far from you guys). I do not have the priveldge to purchase some of the products you guys recommend (maybe when I visit the bay area in SF again this november) since there is only one retail store that sells this stuff, and most of it are Ellusionist products. Plus, they really rack up the prices.

Anyway, I got hooked with the forums after that and it convinced me to join. My favorite type of magic is still mentalism. The people in our country are somewhat unfamiliar with the craft that they often think I am really a psychic. I don't mind since I really get a kick out of it (until they found out about Derren Brown's show).
