I read in the September issue of Magic Magazine that Madrake the Magician is about to start filming with Criss Angel in the starring role.

For those who haven't heard of Mandrake the Magician before, he's a comic strip crime fighter (had to Google it myself ) - apart from being a Mod here on TM

I wonder who Mandrake would have chosen to be cast in his role instead of Angeland whether Seige, Bananafish and The Mog will be making guest appearances

The strips and previous film ads that I've seen so far appear to have portrayed Mandrake as a well to do Gent in top hat, tails and cane. I'm sure that Mandrake sits behind his computer whilst moderating in this very regalia and taps the letters on his keyboard with the tip of the cane. I can just picture him now

didn't there used to be a cartoon with various superheroes, including mandrake. late 80's early 90's? Around the time of thundercats and that sort of thing.

When I lived in British Columbia I got to be good friends with the Mandrake family, (Especially Lon) and am pleased to say they are a really wonderful family.
Just thought I would throw this in here.
