I have just watched Reel Magic Issue 2 and seen George's 'Bar Room Blues'. This excellent effect has sold it to me.
Powerful, straightforward and explained clearly and fully with excellent production values.

I thought it might be...

My mind was adding it up and thought that if he gives THIS away to Reel Magic, what must the other stuff on his DVD be like???!!

He looks hard too. Wouldn't want to upset him...

"Was your card... the Three of Clubs?" (George)

"No. It was the Ace of Hearts" (Spec)

"I said, WAS YOUR CARD THE THREE OF EFFIN CLUBS"

"Errr... yes, yes it was..."

Actually, according to Owen (Ozman, aka one of the BBM chief honchos) George is a really nice, modest bloke.

But I still wouldn't call his pint a slag...

No, it looks like The Long Good Friday. But with excellent card magic.

Great review Siege and i LOVE the DVD. Every effect is a worker! Unlike c*** i've bought before where i couldn't use a single effect.

Every trick is fun to perform, logical and most importantly, strong!

Just saw this on the BBM site: “The only other DVD this year that made me sit up and bark was David Stones'... this is as good, but without the pretentious or poncey attitude.” Seige, talkmagic.co.uk

Didn't know Siege is a magic critic too.

Sorry, but I'd give this a 4. Purely because anyone with no experience will get no value out of this stuff. It's not self-working, and it's going to need a lot of practice to get this stuff down to a performance-ready level. But it's worth it.

I just want to add that 2 tricks (Hotel Mystery and Double Swap Sandwitch) and the ace cutting (Cutting the Aces) are easier than the Rest (TM-Rating 3). So you have a DVD where you can grow with. I was a bit afraid ordering, because it might be too hard (too much work) for me. But at least there where 3 items I could do immediately with not much of training. So this is for now AND for the future.

Sadly, I didn't pay for this DVD, it was a promo. But suffice to say I'd have paid at least DOUBLE the selling price for such a collection.

Happily I did only pay half of the price (buy one get one free from Dude last month) :D
