Microdirect are the dog's proverbial... I bought my 19" widescreen PC monitor from there (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(15286)19-Cibox-C1905-Widescreen-TFT-Monitor-BlackSliver.aspx if anyone's interested), way cheaper than the "big brands" but have never had a single problem with it... well, only that my rubbish graphics card couldn't cope with the resolution so I had to upgrade that, but hey...!
For the first week I just used to put it on the iTunes visualiser and admire it... if anyone else is thinking about upgrading from a CRT monitor, do it, it will change your life...
(Also, with a 5ms response time and 180 viewing angle, films look awesome... especially plugged into my floorstanders, but that's a different story... thankyou, sweet eBay...)
