What a day!!!

Postby cymru1991 » Oct 3rd, '07, 20:26

Just thought that I'd share this experience with you:

I was performing a trick for a girl in my sixth form when she said that she had some friends who had heard of my magic ( I perform fairly often in our common room- nothing formal mind!) and asked if they could come and watch. So i end up doing a 7 ish minute routine for them. Anyway, I go on to my next lesson and this same girl starts bragging me up to my class, so i end up doing the 7 minute routine for about 10-12 of them and my form tutor, all of which were literally sitting on me. Everything went perfectly and afterwards i was absolutely BUZZING!! It's moments like that that make me remember why I love to perform (I can't act, sing, dance etc, so i LOVE to perform magic). That's the biggest audience I've performed to i think and I've never been so nervous in all my life, but i LOVED it :D Anyway, just thought that I'd share that with you and quickly say how handy being a "magician" of sorts in a sixth form is- loads of different types of people, loads of angles and tons of reactions. I would recommend putting any magician into that environment and I'm sure that their performance would benefit from it!!
Thanks for reading! :D :D

James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.

I'll show you my "over-board"

8)

(then again...I may have just got back home from an evening out ;))

disclaimer: I do not condone these chat up lines to be authentic. If you use them and get laid, congratulations.

If you use them and do not get laid, then you are like many other poor sods out there - and will probably end up with a slap.

If you use them, have the opportunity to get laid, but are unable to "pull the goods out of the bag" (magically ;)) - then that is just sad

Thats nothing mate! Went round to my missus' house last night for a quiet night in, got all cozy on the sofa, and then the doorbell rang. Lyndsay had forgot to tell me she had invited her young cousins round to see some magic and to meet me!

There was me thinking I was getting some nookie as well!
