Ive heard something but im not sure it is right.
They say if you rub the IT with sandpaper it will reduce light reflection thus making it shine less

Is this true?

Decent IT is mattified anyway, and won't shine that much.

You can use sandpaper to dull a certain IT substitute, but personally I wouldn't bother. Just stick to decent IT.
