I have recently bought my first Wizard PK ring and don't know how I got by without one before.

As a small effect with it I am practising a basic coin vanish. It does the job perfectly but the coin and the ring talk quite loudly.

Has anyone solved this or do I just have to be better with my misdirection?

Either sellotape over the ring, or don't do the effect.

Unless you can cough loudly.

PK rings WILL talk with other metallic objects. It's unavoidable.

Maybe fold the coin inside a bill. and make both vanish. Or switch it for a regular coin so it looks like the bill vanishes from around the coin. If the borrowed coin is marked, and then seems to be folded inside of a borrowed bill and the bill vanishes from around their borrowed coin. Maybe they might let you keep the bill if you can't bring it back. hehehehe...
