Funnily enough, had a phone call from the producers a few weeks ago to ask for some details and they said the audition dates aren't set yet but I'll be receiving a letter when they are.

Thanks, I shan't be in it to win it (tongue twister there!) but to get maximum publicity for our act by doing something that no one else will dream of doing. I have some ideas and want to stun the judges and leave them speechless.
It's better to shine and be remembered than get through to the final and be forgotten! Most of all, we should have immense fun doing it!

I'm working on a rountine for a friend of mine to use on this. We're trying an interesting angle that with any luck will grab their attention.

Thank you! I would never use a specs hand for a Spike type routine
but Simon Cowell? Too good to miss. If it goes well, then it would be good
television, if it goes wrong there are worse reputations you can have than the man that imapled Cowell's hand on a spike.

Just kidding...

There was some mention in the press recently that Simon has had his usually very hairy hands waxed so they'd look better on TV. It's also a good excuse for impaling one of his mitts  !

Brilliant Sir Freddie, I think you've hit the nail ( ) on the head there.
There is no way, none at all, that you cannot do this now.
If there is any plausibility in real 'mind over matter', then I'm afraid you're going to impale his hand whether you like it or not - I can assure you that every single one of the nine million viewers will be thinking "nail, nail, nail..."

If you are going to do the "Spiked" routine I have one you can borrow - it will double your chances of spiking him lol!
