Thanks for all the feedback.
With regards to the signed card being the focus, i've only been playing around with this effect for a couple of months and I'm not sure whether this is Vallarinos method either, but they can select any card they want from a ribbon spread, because i set the whole deck so there's no miss and I will switch in and out decks so it seems the same deck has always been in use. Generally the spectator will slide the card towards them then push it back towards me. So it looks and seems fair due to the randomly select and handle the card.
Possible solutions for the end card are
(a) I use the gary kurtz theme/line of "what did you have before I opened the deck and you selected the card?" They reply, "nothing". I respond with "exactly" and vanish the card as i deliver the line. (This is my prefered ending, if im standing)
(b) David williamsons end to his signed card to pocket and torn and restored effect where he pulls the signature off the card and hands the card out to keep. In this case make a switch and hand out the normal card.
(c) Finally switch in a duplicate signed card. This leads into one of the strongest routines by chuck fayne, the signed card under seat. (This is work in progress still)
Those are just a few thoughts on this effect. If I have tipped anything I shouldnt of, could a moderator delete this reply.
Any other suggestions on ending and handing out the card?
