Thought I'd post a bit about my other hobby! I say hobby, however it's starting to take over my life! Haha...

I live music! I write/play music. All kinds! I play drums, keyboards, guitars etc. So write a lot of band based music (punk/metal/indie/whatever).

Today, I want your feedback on my hard dance stuff. For anyone who is into hard dance, you would probably know Gaz West (aka Dark By Design). I've recently come out of the studio (Tuesday!) with him, and we've written a collaboration track called "F.E.A.R".

yeah just what i need for a kids disco, bring on the pain.

what sort of price would you charge for a 5min speaker check track and if you could worl magic disco party people into the vocals that would be a bonus.

Im a guitarist/trumpet player/drummer(suck at it)/bassist/pianist(sometimes)/violinist(never played one in my life...

and I write songs...

btw kist added violinist because Ive always wanted someone to think I was a violinist...

Speaker check track? I could tape myself going "1, 2... 1, 2... this is a test for MAGIC DISCO PARTY PEOPLE!" - and loop it for 5 mins =o)

If you're serious, let me know what you're after. I could probly just whip something up for you. It's really not that hard, so would charge a pittance hourly rate =o)

basicly its a track i put on will I'm setting up the lights, the one i have i made up myself with an mp3 editor basicly tunes to run through the range of the speakers from deep base to tweeties, kind of like they do for the dts at cinimas then a bit of techno abba, were i go to the end of the hall and set the overall volume, mostly for show.
with kids parties i like to use the old dodge of getting out a small spirit level and when asked what I'm doing i say "I'm checking the sound level".

so basicly a demo track with some base lines and vocals and beat lines, yeah like i realy know what I'm talking about.
