Wotcha folks,

I am after some Appearing ink that would work from the heat from the hands. No lighters , candles and the likes.

Is there such a thing?

Logically ther must be as a reversal to the disappearing ink but chemically is it possible? Well I guess so, think of those pics you ""paint"" by using just water!

Pics with water? Never Heard of them.

I remember having them as a kid, they were called magic pictures or something.... basically the outline was there printed but something about the paper meant that if you used a paintbrush simply wetted with water then it came to life in colour!!

Someone help me....... soemone else must remember them...... I'm sure I didn't get spiked with LSD when I was a kid by my parents (actually, I'm not THAT sure LOL)

Does Corinda have recipe for such ink?

Again I can't check until i get home. I certainly remember a recipe for sp**** w****** on a slate board, but I suspect the chemicals would be very hard to get hold of nowadays, and no doubt incredibly dangerous.

As for heat from the hands... well I know such inks must exist, remember those god-awful T shirts from the 90s? the ones where they changed according to your body temperature?
You just ended up with patches under your arms.

Are there any chemists on here?

There is something to do with slates and some nasty sounding Chemicals in 13 steps.
