Poster design

Postby Mark Waddington » Nov 25th, '07, 18:22

Hi guys

Im looking for a bit of help. I require some promo posters designing for some gigs I have next year. Im completely illiterate with anything like Corel and Photoshop, and wondered if anyone here would be able to help me?

If you think you will be able to help, please let me know, and ill send some info over to you to complete a decent poster.

Cheers

Mark

Well, a contest sounds great actually, im sure I will need modorator consent though. If I get approval, I will post up details I need, and will make some pictures available to be used in it!

hey Mrk, you got any kind of ideas what sytle of poster you want? like a kids style poster, or a more 'traditional' old school, 1950's style poster (like the ones Houdini used to have)

I'd be well up for having a bash for you, (well, I say me...my girlfriend and her 3 houemates are AMAZING on photoshop and other such programs, damn Illustration students)

I take it from Mandrakes post that I have Mod approval!

The information I require on the poster is as follows, feel free to design it however you want, however im very much into the modern stuff.

Magik Mark
"Teenage Tricks"

www.magikmark.co.uk
www.myspace.com/magikmark

Thats basically the info I deffinately need on it. you can vist the myspace account to get quotes etc and pictures. However, I really want to have my logo on the poster somehow. You can use any of the pictures you want off the account.

I will require a blank space, about a quarter to a third of the page so the venues can write gig details on.

Hope this helps, I look forward to seeing what you can come up with!!!

Ideally as well, I do like the Sitting down on stage picture.

Lyndsay is absolutely gorgeous, I love her to pieces!

Ill be sure to tell her she is causing more of a stir in the world of magic than her fella is!!!
