all of thease decks do not impress the layperson / audience its the magic that does.
put simply thease decks are made to impress magicians and people who want to fell unique or who have to have the latest decks.

the decks you mentioned are made i belive on the same card stock as bikes and handle pretty much the same, there have been reviews of thease decks and you could take pot luck with the search engine on here or google them.

the card stock on both is slightly more rigid, the masters in particular, I believe.

the ghost colours are obviously different, and the ace of spades is rather nice. I do like the look of them but you should be aware that some lay peeps can get confused by the fact that the red spots are black apart from the indexes.

i get through a fair few decks though, so really just use regular bikes, getting the ghosts out every once in a while.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

Is one review that I've come across. However, if you want a personal review here then here goes.

I bought a blue backed deck of Master's Bikes and out of the box I was very impressed. They felt very smooth, nice crisp sides and side by side the deck is about 3mm thicker than regular bikes. That was a winner for me as I wanted cards that would last, and having hot hands tends to warp my decks a bit. They're also stiffer meaning you can make nice noisy riffles and pops.

However, after some considerable play with them I've come to the conclusion that buying regular bikes is better. I find the added thickness and stiffness is a minor hindrance for things like palming and doubles look and feel like a tripples. It can make it very difficult to gauge what you're doing without glancing at your hands. Bikes are also cheaper, fit better with other USPCC decks and gimmicked cards, and you can get them everywhere.

That said, I'm sure Masters are quite good for flourishy displays and as the advert says "Cutting The Cheese" (har har). However if you like that sorta thing then going for the most colourful and eye-catching cards you can buy is probably the best.

Next time I go shopping I'm gonna try out Tally-Ho as well since I keep hearing good things.

On a side note, I have a deck of Bee cards which I think are amazing. They hold together really well, resist warping and all the crimps I've used have fallen out when I'm done with them. I'd still be using them if they weren't so filthy (I even tried cleaning them) . Does anyone know if the same stock comes with borders?

If you look in the Tricks 'n' Props Review Index, scroll down to B for Bicycle Masters Edition Playing Cards, you'll find no less than five reviews. Happy reading.

I personally wouldn't bother with either of these, they might look nice but you'll do just as well with ordinary bikes. One things about the fancy pants cards is that they do look odd and will make specs think that you're using iffy cards.

Save your money and stick to ordinary bikes.

All these fancy decks are good if you collect playing cards, but I wouldn't use them in performance situations.

ive just got 3 decks of ghosts and then loads of cheapo co-op style cards to practice with.... i use the crappy decks to learn tricks, one set of rougher ghosts to perfect them, and one nice ghost to perform, laypeople never suspect theres something iffy with the deck with ghosts as they jsut look like beautiful cards to them....

the only problem being that.... ive just ordered a ghost gaff deck and then people may not trust my deck anymore.... but i do always let specs check my deck... :D

bah humbug...

I suggest, from reading your other posts, that you buy Royal Road and some standard bikes. It's ok having flashy looking decks, but if you can do nothing with them then what's the point?
Your practice decks will get worn out pretty quickly so it's better to do that to a cheaper deck than some flash overexpensive one.

When you've used your expensive new vanity decks and made them filthy round the edges with sweat and grease, what then? Expensive replacements?

I have a blue Master's deck, and a red one. My one hand top palm is much easier with standard bikes, as is palming in general. Also, it is harder for me not to make them 'talk'. So, I went back to buying regular blue backed bikes. Ditto on what tiw said.

Get the 1800 series or balck decks and you won;t notice the dirt. Other than this, you're wasting mour money as well as your spit
