Re-Labelled by Ben Williams

Postby Nechto » Nov 30th, '07, 13:58

Hi everyone,

I just thought I would tell everyone that the additional work I have been doing for my close up illusion Labelled is going to be available for download from http://www.magicshop.co.uk very soon.

The download will consist of two new penetrations that require no cover and also a handling whereby the spectator holds the bottle and the penetration happens whilst they are holding it, bear in mind you are not touching the bottle at all. Also there is a quick handling that Gregory Wilson came up with at a lecture I met him at, he gave me permission to teach it but couldn't be here in person of course so you will have to settle for my ugly mug teaching it! There will be a couple of productions for introducing the bottle and the new improved set up whereby the bottle is viewable from all angles prior to doing the effect, this opens up so many possibilities for arranging it so Labelled looks 100% impromptu in the spectators eyes.

Here is a video of me performing Labelled to the cashier at my local petrol station, he had no idea what we had in store for him! Just so there are no debates about it, the video is meant to make it look 100% impromptu, which we all know it isn't, but, it is what the spectator believes that is important in the long run.

I went to fill up with petrol about an hour later and he had the bottle on the counter and he said he had been showing everyone who had come in!!

Anyways check out the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8POfiXEAAOM

Let me know what you think.

All the best,

Ben Williams

Wow Ben, impressive video and the effect is incredibly visual.
Is the bottle examinable afterwards?

Hi Lord Freddie,

The bottle is 100% examinable at the end of the effect, and the bottle is 100% factory sealed still, no glue, no fakes the seal has never been broken.

Thanks,

Ben

Wow, great work there Ben, this effect looks truly amazing. Is is just available as a download or is there a printed version or DVD available?

And is this an 'add-on' to the first effect or a standalone routine?

Great reaction in the garage by the way! :D

Hi everyone,

Just so it is clear the way I have decided to release this to everyone is as an add on DVD or download. This means that the original creation of the sealed bottle is not taught on this tutorial. My reasons for this is that so many people have bought Labelled now it would be unfair to them if I made them buy the same product again to get the extras.

There is plenty on this tutorial though, there are 2 penetrations that require no cover whatsoever there is the slow shake change that is on the demo and then there is a slam change that is a bit quicker, still very visual though, you get a great visual of the label passing through the bottle. There is also a version taught where you have the spectators hold the bottle and the penetration happens in their hands. I teach the new improved set up that allows the bottle to be visible from all angles, 2 bottle productions for getting into Labelled in a magical way, extra tips, and will have a quick video of a friend bar flairing just in case you want to pick any of that up. Also I teach the handling that Gregory Wilson came up with when I showed it to him at a lecture, it is a handling that just has his personality and subtleties added to it.

It will be available as a download first in a week or two then as a DVD in the new year which will be sold through magicshop.co.uk and Murphys Magic Supplies.

Thanks again for you support,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I don't have Labelled, so if I bought this would I be able to do the effect without aby knowledge of the first or would I need to purchase both?
The new handling as seen on the video is an amazing improvement over the original and just looks so fantastic.

Hi everyone,

To clarify, if you bought Re-Labelled without having bought the original Labelled you would get a the idea of how to set it up but you will not know how to seal the bottle.

Thanks,

Ben
