Hi, I recently moved up here to Leeds to attend University, and I was wondering if anyone knew any magic shops here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Placebo

Welcome to Talk Magic.

I don't personally know of magic shops in leeds, but would suggest you contact Leeds Magic Society http://www.leedsmagic.co.uk/

I'm sure they can help you!

Thanks for your help guys, and thanks for the welcome.

I can't get that link (scoot.co.uk) to work at the moment, I'll try again later.

Thanks again.

Well the nearest two on the list were as follows (thanks BaBaBoom btw for the serach).

Loony Bin (2 miles)
100 Town St, Armley, Leeds, LS12 3HN Tel: 0113 2795350

Merlins (9 miles)
15 The Springs, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF1 1QE Tel: 01924 339933

I know nothing beats actually visiting the shop itself, but you also may want to also consider (if you haven't already) on-line shopping. I've spent many a happy hour(day, month) browsing through the emagictricks online store.

Yeah good advice, online is normaly cheaper, you get to read customer reviews and you get a wider choice.
Emagictricks have a good name, you wont go far wrong with them.

If you still want the list just visit scoot.co.uk and enter your search. The search I did was for magic in Leeds, as you are near Bradford etc, maybe search there as well.
Glad to be of some service :)

Thanks for your help guys.

I just wanted to purchase the "Out Of This World" manuscript, which I haven't been able to find on any British websites. I went to the shop "Loony Bin" today, and the owner said he might have it next week.

Lol, that's very true. The "s**t hole" look makes it look a lot more mystical. He did seem a very nice guy and he said to come back in a week after he's had time to look for a book with Out Of This World in it.
