I will take all your word for it and keep my fingers crossed. Problems and delays I can understand, but refusing to answer any correspondance annoys me. Ironically, you can't get through on the customer service line to chase orders already paid for but call the line for placing new orders and BINGO! someone picks the phone up!!!
Still can't tell me if/when they will send my order. Grrrr!

I may have to. Sadly they are the only site that seems to sell the thing I'm after and they can't even tell me whether it will be delivered for Christmas or not. Ridiculous when you pay an extra for delivery charge, so it's up in the air at the moment.
The sales person reckons they have a backlog of orders they having trouble dealing with, I say get extra staff! At least reply to customers out of common courtesy.
The second worst treatment I have had from a net business after a certain magic dealer whose mantra is "We sell overpriced tat and try to discredit our customers - it's our way of standing out from the crowd!" :wink:

It was one of those snazzy umbrellas with lights on it. It's for my sister.
I really hate poor service and lack of courtesy and when you're treated like this you just take your custom elsewhere. I have done that with magic shops but sadly if they're the only place that sell something, you're stuck with them - and they know it!

From my experience mate, I would order from someone else
because:

1) I paid extra for delivery and received nothing
2) Five emails asking for a delivery date have gone unanswered
3) The customer "care" line is never answered
4) Amazingly the Sales line is always manned
5) The people that answer the phone are unwilling to help in any way
6) I was told someone would call me from customer care to advise me whether or when my order would be sent - they didn't
7) Was told the same thing as No.6 and again, they didn't

From my experience, I would never use them again. Delays I can undestand this time of year but lack or customer care, courtesy and no means of reliable contact means that if something goes wrong - you're stranded.

Yes, I've heard good things about Firebox and they sell the same kind of things as www.iwantoneoftthosebuttryingtogetintou ... ssible.com and are probably better. I wouldn't normally use them but it's something that someone wanted that only they seem to sell..well, take money for.

Cheers, I will do. There's a good BBC Counties consumer programme on the wireless that sorts out shysters like this too.
Delays I can understand, but ignorant, arrogrant refusal to communicate I can't. I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone.

The fact that you had no luck with the customer service number, yet strangely had no problem getting through on the sales number, is quite blatant I must say. Gives you some clue to their priorities perhaps?
