Sucessful CUPS recovery/Recommended list of Magic

i am proud to say that i have not suffered CUPS for the last year or so. But in that process, i've dropped out of the magic scene in that year.
now that my 2nd semester is starting for me and almost all of my college apps are completed, i have time to practice magic now.
sooo... I'm wondering what new things that came out in the last year that might be worth getting
?!~
