I feel poorly so I'm having a party at home. Might even nip on here at midnight, just to see who else is sad enough!

I've been ill too, I think tonight is the first night I've felt well enough to venture out for a while. The Christmas 'flu seems to have got to quite a few in these parts this year.

Oh well, get well soon Bronzy.

Crikey, what a weird evening. At the party I was at, I wanted to perform serious mentalism but found myself doing impromptu card magic for a very tired little girl at the insistence of her gran! My ACR went down a treat, as did my own "Genuinely Drawn" and my version of Hans Trixer's "Photo Memory" from 13 Steps. She wanted to see them all again and again. When I ran out of ideas I let her keep her "magic" favourite card, the ace of spades. It must be lovely to be that young.

Had a real let down with the London fireworks. Looked lovely on the TV but where I was on blackfriars after about 2 minutes we were just engulfed in smoke!

Happy New Year to everybody! Hope this will be my year to step it up!
