Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

There is a nice full deck reversal effect in Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Sleights volume 8.

It involves the Erdnase transposition and a few other moves but it's quick and as far as I can see from your description to fit your requirements.

You could amend it slightly and use a h*** p*** to achieve the same effect, end clean and it would look more like your description. If you want further details PM me and we'll discuss in private, avoiding any possible exposure.

Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly, there is a Jay Sankey effect when a selected card repeatedly reverses itself in the deck, then as a kicker, the card is outjogged and the entire deck reverses while the card remains in the same position.

For the basic effect, you can spread though the deck face up and face down, and under cover of squaring up the deck (after spreading it, it's natural) half pass all the cards but the top one. To everyone, it looks like you spread through the deck and squared it. An ego change would achieve the effect and leave you clean.
