Stephen Mulhurn-Magic Tricks You Can Do-2

The Effect
Don't worry, this is the last one of his sets that I've got so you will have no more Stephen Mulhurn reveiws from me after this. I was quite pleased with all the other sets but this one is the exeption, the problem is the type of effects but I'll rant about that later. Well, in this set you get- a magic money maker (turn blank paper into money), colour changing silk, with two non-silk like silks the size of a piece of toilette paper (change a yellow silk into a green silk), mysterious penetration coins(a pencil is shoved though some coins without harming them), exploding dice (1 dice changes into lots of small dices? dies? I'm not sure), telepathic cube( you can easily name the chosen clour on a cube), magic silk to egg ( a silk changes into an egg), magic rising wand (magic wand rises), jumping sponges (sponge balls), magic ball to square ( a sponge ball changes to a square sponge), magic cards (lots of tricks with these cards) and a video showing you some tricks you can make yourself.

Review
Although this is a childrens set, I felt some of the tricks, such as silk to egg, were too difficult to be pulled off convincingly as it involves picking the egg*. A lot of the tricks were ones that had been featured in other sets of his or were very similar such as the sponge balls and sponge rabbits and a salt and pepper trick, you challange people to separate salt and pepper which is the exact same trick featured in Magic Tricks You Can Do-1. The silks were not particularly suited to the tricks they are used for.
Overall
I am not pleased with this set and expected better. The tricks are not suited to the people who will buy it. I don't think any consideration was put into making this set, it looks like someone just said "We'll have that, that, that, and a couple of sponge balls. That'll do." What a disappointment!!!!! :cry: :x
*I'm sure you know which word I mean here :wink:

Just to ease your mind:

singular = 1 die
Plural = 2 dice

Many people don't realise that dice is the plural of die. Completely off topic I know, but I thought you would be interested.

I'll go now...

Cogito, ergo sum.
Cogito sumere potum alterum.
