this when done well is really cool ,
i came up with the idea when a pack of mini playing cards fell out of a christmas cracker.
effect
seemingly a card is picked at random from a deck , the magicians hand passes over the card[held in palm] the card shrinks to a 1/4 its size .can be reversed .
so u need a pack of mini cards with the same colour similar pattern , long and short cards can be used to force the card if desired , your short card should match the mini card ...keep the min card palmed throughout, or in the box witht he cards ...show all the cards are diffrent and the choice is free ,they take the short card ....put the short card they too over the mini card in your hand , slowly move your hand over the card as you perform a subtle backpalm and place the mini card face up in your hand ....
reverse it to change the card back!!

its my trick .. no one showed it to me so i thought id like to share it with you .

yeh man lots of times its a corker if u [edited by modes = YOU] do it right , just flash the big card to the back of you hand as you drop the small one ....its angle sensitive u [edited by modes = YOU] have to face ur [edited by modes = YOUR] hand down so they cant see the card at the back of ur [edited by modes = YOUR] hand but really ive freaked a few peope out with it , the size change is dramatic

no tooing and frooing they pick a card u take it off them wave ur [edited by modes = YOUR] hand over it and its shrunk lol ..it does require a good tenkai back palm ..you can reverse it just clasp hands together as if praying just b4 [edited by modes = BEFORE] they meet sping the card back and palm the small ojne..presto its back

also right after this i like to change every card in the deck to the card they just saw shrunk but im not revelaing that

When I started in magic I was a classical style card manipulator. And I have never heard of a Tenkai back palm.

There's easy ways to shrink a card. To me, this sounds like a bright idea which they think will impress everyone, but in reality they have never tried it out.
As for your final comment about the cards all changing to the same one, not using a svengali deck by any chance? I have a feeling it may be a Marvin's one...

oh no! Especially if you use sven gali rather than actually forcing a card yourself!

the tenkai palm ,or back palm ..you make a card vanish from the palm of your hand in plain view ...it essentialy is a move to get the card to the back of your hand very quickly , you can also do card production by reversing it , some people can do it with many cards and make it seem they produce them from thin air

Coming on here for advice and like-minded discussion is one thing, but making things up and trying to appear you know what you are doing is another.

A standard back palm could be done, I'm not familiar with the "tenkai" one. There are easier and more visual way to shrink a card, I would use the R-A-D vanish.

I know what a backpalm is...dini will tell you all about my split fan productions, and amazingly terrible pivot move

I just never knew there was such thing as a tenkai back palm...i use tenkai often, and back...but tenkai back palm?

i have done this trick many times it always makes them look at you and their mouth opens ..they say nothing for a bit ...pass your hand slowly as you drop the small card so they cant see the movement of your other hand back palming the big card...
try it b4 u knock it ..the change in size from 2 things with identical patterns is visually very good


i just call it a tenkai back palm thats what it was called on the card tutorial i lfirst earned the move from in sure

I know a back palm, i know a tenkai palm I even know a cardini palm. Hell I even know Brown Bear paw grip. But no tenkai back palm.

whos "they" ??? im an individual , and its my trick , i conceived practiced and can make work , if you dont like it or think you cant make it work then tough , at least be polite , im sharing a good trick for real ...
