hi, I'm in Sunderland

My name is Wu, 21, presently studying in Sunderland. I've been learning and doing tricks for quite some time and would really like to meet with some fellow magicians to share each other's ideas.

Is there any magic community or shops in Sunderland, i'll be grateful if someone could give me some guide on that. :)

Nice to meet you all! :)

Hi and welcome!

Not sure how close this is for you but check out http://www.magicbox.uk.com/ , based in Newcastle, and the details of the South Tyneside Magic Festival 14th to 16th March - looks like fun!

Hi Wu, welcome to TM.

I've used MagicBox a few times for mail order and they're always very good and helpful when I've phoned them.

Hi and welcome to TM  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Hello there.

Yeah the MagicBox in Newcastle is excellent and they're a friendly bunch.

In case you don't know the area well, Newcastle is the much better city slightly to the north and west ( ).

Seriously though, Newcastle is only 25 minutes or so on the metro.

I think you'll find Middlesbrough is the place to be. A little further south down the A19.

yes, I'm a Chinese. Thank you all for your kindness acceptance. Ok so the nearest magic shop is in Newcastle. I'll get an annual metro card after getting my Student Card (I'm studying in the University of Sunderland) so i can travel at a cheaper cost, then i will be able to go Newcastle and take part in some events in the magic community often.

Thanks to all of you again.
